If you were not at the "Warriors Alumni Reunion" last night, you really missed a great affair…a great time was had by all that attended.

Attending the affair were "Warriors" of ALL ages representing MANY years of participation in "Drum Corps" that have become the "norm" where the "Minisink Spirit" is concerned…the years were from the fall of 1952 –1979.

Special mention was given to persons present at the affair who were members of the "Minisink Cadet Bugle and Drum Corps" that were "Park Department Champions" in the first contest they participated in:

Alfred Bailey Bobby Newton, Benjamin Marion Mel Jenkins

Jimmy Lathen who was the drum instructor back at the original "Town House" at 145th Street & Convent Avenue later joined them. Jimmy later became the Director of the Drum Corps.
